A group known as the Lagos State Concerned Workers (LSCW) has began the mobilization of dully registered civil servants in Lagos State Service to ensure they cast their votes for the candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu in the forthcoming general elections.
Speaking on Tuesday January 28, 2019 at one of their mobilization events In Lagos Island, the Group Co-ordinator, Olumide Okesanya said they’re doing this to ensure continuity of progressive governance at the centre of excellence.
He said, “we Lagos Civil Servants have been so lucky over the years to have progressives at the helm of affairs and this we pray and hope to continue with so that our dear state will not lose its position as the first among others in the country”.
“We will preach the gospel to all members and make them see reasons with us. Regular payment of salary, payment of pension and gratuity, promotion as at when due are few out of many of our concerns that we can’t afford to gamble with”, he said.
