… contestants’ address to members of Club ’97
Towards the upcoming elections of new executive members to direct the affairs of our association Club ’97 of Epe Division for the next two years, we (the contestants) have decided to key into the club’s slogan, … United We Stand’ to offer ourselves for service in unison. This is to exemplify the virtue of oneness that had been the pillar on which our divisional group in the state’s civil service was built and sustained over the years.
We collectively pledge to rigorously ensure continuity in pursuance of group’s core objectives which includes; Gaining and ensuring a quite fair share of our appointment’s quota in Local Government Service.
Making members’ welfare a priority, assisting members on posting, and other official issues, sustaining the culture of probity and accountability on group’s books and other financial engagements among other responsibilities.
Ours is a pressure group and as such, it’s incumbent on us to proactively engage our divisional representatives at the Local Government Service Commission for available opportunities for our members in tandem with our quota entitlements.
